The brainchild of world renowned UK banjo player Leon Hunt, Chapman Cases was founded in 2017 and enjoyed a brief but energetic take off before being scuppered by a certain pandemic. Running the company as well as making the cases by hand, all whilst pursuing his other musical ventures amidst a global standstill, Hunt decided the business best be put on hold until such a time that circumstances were more conducive to productive output.

Flash forward to 2023 and a chance encounter at a local bluegrass jam, Hunt meets Icelandic musician Bragi Olafsson and luthier Gary Leddington.
